You look through the peephole.
There’s a hood on the other side. No face.

He wants to play a game.

Step away from the door and he’ll change one thing inside your apartment.
Find what changed, and the night continues.

Miss it, and something else comes through the door.

Seven nights. Same apartment. Different every time.

It’s just you, your cat Tisha, and whoever keeps coming back at 3:03.

Every night, something changes. A missing object. Something moved. Something that definitely wasn’t there before.

Pay attention. Remember your apartment. Find what’s wrong.

He'll ask you questions too. Your answers come back later.

WHAT HE LEFT is a short first-person horror game about noticing when a familiar place stops feeling familiar.

Windows:
Unzip the archive and launch What He Left.exe.
If Windows shows a warning, click More info → Run anyway.

macOS:
Unzip it and open the app. If macOS says it can’t check the app, hit Done, then go to System Settings, Privacy & Security, scroll down and hit Open Anyway.

Browser:
Hit run game at the top of the page. The downloads run a bit smoother.
